Why are people complaining that the iPod mini is too expensive? The 4 gb microdrive it holds goes for $500.

Here’s an interesting article on Google being used to cover for shoddy research. In a strangely ironic twist, searching for “Google and ‘good writers’” yields 1980 hits, but “Google and ‘bad writers’” only 268. Go figure.

It’s ironic that people are all over that “Proud to be an american” song without really thinking about the second line - “Where at least I know I’m free.” But are you really free? Not in Rhode Island.
