I’m thinking of starting a KD sightings page. Recently:
I don’t think that I am being unreasonable here. It’s just common sense. I propose that any restaurant that has tables along Thayer St. (I’m talking to you Paragon, Kartabar, Andreas, and that new asian place that no one goes to) be required to pressure wash and / or scrub the sidewalk at least weekly. It’s disgusting, the food that your patrons drop on the ground and you do not clean up. You wouldn’t think of not mopping the floor inside the restaurant. So if you consider the sidewalk an extension of the restaurant, which you obviously seem to, since you see fit to take up half the available pedestrian space, then you should clean it like it’s part of the restaurant.
If you are going to cater to the see and be seen scene who insist on eating outside even when it is 95° , then you should have to clean up after them.
I received this semi-offical email today from, well, myself apparently (a worm was attached):

I wonder who is running my support team operation.
It appears to work. Good.
There is an interesting article on the history of FreeBSD at IBM. If you have a Mac, this is what runs your computer.
